Socks ... day 2 and 3

Day 2. Just about to turn heel number 1. It would be a lot more comfortable trying this sock on if I could find my fifth dp knitting needle. Day 3. Heel number 1 complete. About to start the leg.
I happened to walk by a yarn shop at lunch time today ... totally unplanned, I swear! ... and decided to nip in and look for sock yarn for that lace socks pattern in Piecework. I was thinking sunshiny yellow, but this kelly green caught my eye.
I used to wear green a lot, but when I went to look for something green to wear for St Patrick's Day this year, realized I didn't own anything green anymore. I'm sure my Irish ancestors would approve of lacey kelly green socks. So pitter patter ... I must get the current pair finished. I'll keep this new sock yarn sitting out in plain sight as inspiration.
